In the exhibition "Tilla Durieux. A Century Witness and Her Roles" at the Georg Kolbe Museum, a variety of sculptures, paintings, drawings, and photographs reveal the work of iconic actress and activist Tilla Durieux (1880-1971). Together with actress Banafshe Hourmazdi (b. 1990), Sonja Eismann, co-founder, co-publisher and editor of Missy Magazine, takes a contemporary look at the exhibition.
Program
- 6 p.m.: Guided tours of the exhibition "Tilla Durieux. A Century Witness and Her Roles" (offered on a staggered basis if attendance is high).
- 7:30 p.m.: Conversation: Sonja Eismann, co-founder and editor of Missy Magazine, talks with Banafshe Hourmazdi about her role(s) as an actress in the German-speaking world today.
- 8:30 - 10 p.m.: End of the evening with live music by Sara Hartmann in the garden of the Georg Kolbe Museum. Drinks and snacks will be available at the Café benjamine bar.
