Start of main content,

From Charlottenburg to Friedrichshain and Hohenschönhausen, the Kultursommerfestival Berlin 2023 will get underway with simultaneous concerts
at unusual venues all over the city. Featuring jazz, swing, electro, classical music, breakdance, pop and soul.

The Moka Efti Orchestra, the Big Band from the TV series “Babylon Berlin” will bring the spirit of the 1920s to Kastellanwiese in Schloss Schönhausen.

In 1929, the world is a different place. Berlin is wild, dirty, glamorous and party-happy at the same time. The 14-member ensemble around composers Nikko Weidemann and Mario Kamien and saxophonist/arranger Sebastian Borkowski literally invites the audience to the "Moka Efti", one of the entertainment palaces of 1920s Berlin and a prominent plot setting from the series "Babylon Berlin".  The title song from the series, "Zu Asche Zu Staub", will not be missing from this concert evening either.

No registration required.
